Status: Occasional casual introduction.

Description: Large species with distinctive blue eyes.

Size: 40 - 70 mm

Food: Considered a pest of bananas.

Habitat: Native rangeis the Caribbean, and found in Britain on imported bananas.

Distribution: This species is not present in the National Biodiversity Network Database currently (October 2008).
